"Hiked in snow on 03/14 with strangers Phillip, David, & Chris. Knee high Goretex gaiters and gortex hikers kept me nice and dry in the knee deep snow. Can't say the same for the strangers who followed my lead because they didn't know where the trail was. Slow going with breaking trail. " — ursasomnus • Mar 14, 2021
"My brother and I made it, completing the Four Peaks Traverse from south to north. We summited from the east side. The summit was windy and we were both tired, so we didn't stay too long. We had fun going down the chute, which was pretty crowded but not too bad. " — ZachTeich • May 2, 2020

"My brother and I finally were able to summit Brown's, after the area was closed off last July due to a forest fire. This was a fun hike and climb up the scree chute, and we enjoyed wonderful views of the surrounding area and all the way to Humphrey's peak and Mt. Graham. " — ZachTeich • Mar 12, 2017

"The drive on FR143 from AZ 87 is a chore (high clearance and 4 wheel drive recommended).
The trail is very enjoyable, winding up in the forest to the saddle where things get tougher. Scrambling up the chute is not as hard as it looks from below, despite some icy spots!
Incredible views from the top." — Gabsolute • Dec 19, 2016

"Bum ankle be damned, I couldn't miss out on the first annual peak week! Surprisingly good rock up the steep gully (mostly class II with one or two waterfalls to climb of class III-IV). The traverse to Brother Peak was way harder.

"First time to Browns (I live in California). Hiked up browns and did the 4-peaks traverse. Very beautiful day, range, scenery and views all around. Very impressed with the scrambling over the ridgeline of the 4-peaks with plenty of exposure to make this a fun and exciting day." — DrBoz • Mar 29, 2014
