Backpacked from Gumboot TH on 7/1 and camped on Lower Seven Lake. On 7/2 hiked up from Lowet Seven up to Lake Helen. Scrambled up a peaklet near the saddle, then went back down to the saddle and followed the ridge line to Boulder Peak. Beautiful warm day with great views of Shasta, Castle Crags, Trinity Alps, and the lake basin.
