One of the last of the local Sierra I had to do. Only Spanish Needle is left and then any Sierra near Ridgecrest will have been bagged. I took this via the Aquaduct since my attempt via Sand Canyon was far too exhausting. This was also exhausting. Something about 3000 feet of gain on scree over only 2 miles has that effect.
However, effort required not withstanding the view was absolutely incredible. Worth it alone for that. You can see the entire valley and all of the local Sierra up front and close. Beautiful.
