It was a perilous trip to summit Boot Hill. One of the most difficult ascents I can remember! It was starting to get dark and I was climbing with my dog and best friend, Mr. Pierre. We were about 2/3 the way up when Mr. Pierre bolted from my arms. I called for him, but he just kept trekking up to the summit. Well next thing you know, Mr. Pierre stopped and I was able to grab him and I looked around and we had done it! We summited Boot Hill! And oh my, was the view gorgeous! Mr. Pierre and I could look down on the rooftop of Montana Mike's Steakhouse.
