Lead a Hiking Las Vegas meetup group up to this peak today. What a great morning to take a hike. It was cold at first but we warmed up as we started the hike. Meet a wild horse while on the trail not far from the trail head. When we reached the saddle about a mile from the peak we started to notice some light snow flurries. About a half mile from the peak we started seeing a light coat of frost on the trees which made for some great pictures. We made the round trip hike in exactly 5 hours.
