3rd attempt to post a log entry. Bluff Mountain is like a bunny slope for skiers, a great hike for beginning orienteering. I parked at the intersection of Muddy Lane and HWY 600, crossed the HWY and entered the woods at an obvious trail. This trail quickly becomes more of a deer path. Azimuth 60 degrees and keep going uphill works. The summit has 3 rock piles, any one of which could be the actual peak. No views. Got off track on the way back. No problem, just go downhill until you reach the highway.
