Since I was in the area for another family visit, I decided to try this one again. Drove up to the 2nd gate which was closed. The remaining very rough Blue Mt. Rd. was an easy hike for the last mile up to the double county high point. Looked around off the road but could not find any sign-in box or jar in the area. I will return at some point to check out the Tuscarora Trail in this area and the 1956 Air Force crash site, of which a nice memorial is maintained on Three Square Hollow Rd.
