Finishing off the Colorado Springs 5 list. Have failed to summit Blodgett twice before, but today was a winner. The weather was gorgeous, and the trails almost empty. This is a steep route, and I feel on the ol' butt more than once on the way down. The wildlife watching was wonderful, and the trip was well worth it.

Take trekking poles if you do this route.
