1st time checking out the River Mountain Trail out of Boulder City. That view from the top ... imo is better than Hummel Peak, Frenchman and many others. Incredible 360 view of Lake Mead, Boulder City, Henderson, The Strip, Mt. Charleston & Red Rock Canyon.
Took a detour scramble down to the rock formations overlooking the trail (SE of summit) to observe a family of Bighorns (see photo).
Ran down the switchbacks on the decent ;)
