Probably my favorite Sierra peak yet!
We left camp at 5:30am. We climbed the southwest face which looked impossible from down below. A super long continuous class 3 scramble ensued. We had to be super careful of loose rock, so at times it was safer to stick to class 4 steeper but scree free sections. Amazing views, cool geology and thrilling scrambling. I highly recommend this peak.
We got back to camp around 1pm and moved our camp back to Little Five Lakes basin where we set up camp. We beat the thunderstorms that afternoon as well.
