Since any plans to tag a 14er or 13er were out of the question because of deep snow and avalanche danger, Dan and I decided to just stop at Lizard Head pass on our way to Pagosa Springs and ended up on an awesome class 2 / class 3 scramble up a steep spine to the summit of Black Face mountain. It was an awesome climb.
