Followed the old jeep trail about half way up from Buckthorn Road before connecting to a good use trail. Summit is broad, flat, and grassy. The clear morning light afforded views of all four islands off of Santa Barbara and of the snow capped Sierra Nevada more than a hundred miles distant.
