This was originally supposed to be a Wetterhorn attempt, bur with freezing conditions and an uncertain weather forecast we opted for two 13ers instead. The drive up to Carson Pass in the Ram was just as challenging as the hike itself, but nice Aspen colors and complete solitude (not a single other person on the peaks) was a nice reward. We hit Bent Peak first then bushwhacked over to Carson. A little bit of snow and some fun scrambling section made for a solid day.
