"Whoop! Multi summit day in my happy place, Dartmoor! Didn't set off until 5 pm due to the heatwave.....did get to Knattaborough Tor and sit looking at Oke Tor wondering if I should go and do that one but common sense prevailed (not knowing how much energy I had left or how much day light....and factor in time in case stuff goes wrong.....) and I turned back via winter tor and scarey tor.
Fab evening walk with my pooch." — staggeronward • Jul 16, 2022

"Setting out from the car park just north of Belstone village, we headed through the village and along the path following the River Taw. Just past Irishman's Wall, we climbed up the step elevation to reach one of the peaks between Belstone and Higher Tors where we stopped for lunch. Higher Tor was summited before we headed north along the ridge to summit Belstone Tor, Tors End Tor, another unnamed peak and Watchet Hill before dropping down back into Belstone village. Apart from the climb up by Irishman's Wall, this was a relatively easy walk. In retrospect, carrying on along the lower path past Higher Tor (as if heading to Oke Tor) and approaching from the south would have provided a gentler ascent." — WessexMan • Aug 1, 2020
