Walked up Deep Creek from the road bridge 1.4 km's then headed NE up a steepish ridge face to the top. There was quite thick undergrowth in places. On the summit (839m) there is an historical survey trig beacon with a more modern one beneath it. I returned much the same way down to Deep Creek but for the last stretch back to the road I detoured a bit looking at old gold mining workings.
