"Beinn Ghlas, Ben Lawers, Creag an Fhithich & An Stuc, then back over Creag an Fhithich & Ben Lawers before taking the bypass path back to the car park. Minimal views, got soaked, loved it!" — ChrisMac • Sep 15, 2018
"Departed the car park and headed up the shoulder of Beinn Ghlas, requiring crampons quite early on. Snow was in good consolidated condition, icy in places. Clouds rolled in as we approached the summit. Headed along the ridge to Ben Lawers, slower going in then cloud which then lifted. Worked directly up the face, rather than the path up the shoulder, exposing us to a very steep slab climbing. After summiting we returned down the shoulder, but then moved along the steep north face Beinn Ghlas, discovering the debris from two avalanches which had been triggered by cornice collapses." — adambarras • Feb 25, 2018
"I was leading three parties of Scouts from Edinburgh to climb Ben Lawers. We took the main path up the ben, which took us over the summit of Beinn Ghlas. It was a raw day and we gave the mountain a cursory nod, pausing only briefly to stand on the summit before pushing on to the main objective of the day." — munroman • Jul 11, 2009
"Alone. I departed from Invervar (Glen Lyon). I followed a zig zag path (not shown on my OS 1:50,000 1st series map) behind Dericambus. I came to a new fence. I talked to a man constructing it – it cost £12,000! It goes up to the boundary of the National Trust land below Meall Greigh. I followed the fence – there is a path on and off. I reached Meall Greigh and then Meall Garbh. I continued to An Stuc (The climb up An Stuc is very steep and loose), Creag an Fhithich and Ben Lawers. I went on to Beinn Ghlas, Meall Corranaich, and Meall a’ Choire Leith. I went down by Corrie Ban and a path (not shown on my map) to the east of Allt a’ Chobhair. Thence by path to south of River Lyon. Weather was fine, becoming cloudy and windy. Mist on the top of Ben Lawers." — peter43 • Aug 31, 1983
"With Jonathan Bellarby. From a cairn near the roadside at NN593416. To Meall Corranaich and then Bheinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers. Back over Bheinn Ghlas again. Contoured round Coire Odhar and reached the road and so to the starting point. Mist and rain. " — peter43 • Aug 3, 1981
