What a great day for a hike. We are on the road to New Hampshire and picking up this beauty on the way. We it's actually out of the way but it's been on my list of mountains to climb for a long time, so why not drive an extra 70 miles just to hike it. The weatherman is not our favorite guy today as he is predicting rain. Rain doesn't scare us and besides we'll be off the mountain before it gets here. Four great friends, three doodle dogs and one mountain with a great view. We headed up the North trail slipping and sliding in a few muddy spots. The top was a bit breezy as the rain clouds headed our way. Just a short stay at the top then back to the car just as the rain began to fall. Off to the cabin on the Kanc. Happy Trails
