"I parked just a little ways up Apache Leap Rd and started up, first on the slopes and then down into the canyon. I followed the canyon pretty far and then as it ended I headed south of an outcropping below the cliffs. From there I worked my way along the base of the cliffs and began to notice cairns. There is a break in the cliffs south of the summit, and the route was pretty obvious even without the cairns. I made my way to the summit, but continued then to the highpoint further north, just in case that was the true summit. It wasn't, so I came back to the summit. There is a large boulder that is the actual summit, and maybe a 3rd class climb up it. A helicopter flew within a 1/4 mile of me, and right above the cliffs, as I was summiting.
