"Pretty uneventful morning out, I went up Bluemat Hill from 1A and traversed to Anklebiter Ridge then traversed North to Gap Peak along the ridge. I was surprised with how good the scrambling was at such low elevations. Side note: I believe you would be quite unwise to take the standard hiking trail up Gap Peak, I took this way down and man it was garbage " — corbinruthven • Oct 5, 2022

"Anklebiter ridge was pretty straight forward for me. Didnt find it difficult. Did not do the loop, just went back the same way I came up. Some very minor scrambling along the way." — Slogenstein • Dec 17, 2020
"Very hard and strenuous hike. The sun was beating on us and it was hot. Beautiful blue skies. On the way up we saw a black bear cub. It chased us down the path for awhile. Clayton had hurt his foot less then half way through, but pushed on. On the way down, the path was so overgrown we were bush whacking the whole way. We took numerous breaks. When we were taking a break we ended up seeing a grizzley bear. We ran so f-ing fast and shouted as we went down. LONGEST HIKE EVER. We were covered in dirt and sweaty. There was also so much skree.... Too much." — Holleit • Jun 30, 2019
"Had no plans for today but we knew we wanted to do a hike. Put on our snow pants and made our way up the ridge in shin deep snow. When we got to the summit the snow was up to our chest. Great hike though it was a beautiful day and the snow started to melt as we came back down." — KevinN • Apr 4, 2018
"Just guessing my first time up here and not exactly sure how many times I've been to the summit. Have done some early season trips to the false summit. Stopped at false summit because of deep snow afterwards." — Randy • Jul 16, 2013
