This was an excellent walk on a clear, sunny day. We parked in a lay-by on the GC216 and walked up a signposted path to a Mirador higher up the GC216. From there we walked up to the ridge. There are great views from the ridge on the one side to the ocean and in the distance Mount Tiede on the island of Teneriffe (the biggest mountain in Spain) and on the other side the mountain landscape of Gran Canaria. We had lunch on the top and returned the same way except that I also did the next peak (Risco Alto at 1305m).
