"Pretty easy hike. Tough breathing as the temp was below freezing and I'm not used to it. No defined summit, which left me bushwacking around looking for something that wasn't there, thus not spending much time enjoying the view. A little annoying, but still a good hike. Hoping to get another one in before the end of the year. " — mikewilliamsjr • Nov 24, 2020
"After Caribou, Mom helped me with a car spot so I could red-line both trails on Albany. Southern trail was slightly overgrown. Managed to make it through and reach the summit. Great views beyond the summit. The northern part of the trail was well maintained." — newenglandwarrior • Jun 22, 2018
"Overcast, muggy day, with a little light rain. I only saw people at the trailhead--two leaving as I got there, and one coming as I was leaving. Blueberries were done in the lower 80% of the mountain, but I got to eat a fair number near the top. Trail was in fine shape except near the old beaver pond. Trail has yellow blazes, plus cairns near the top. Except near the top and by the pond, the hike is very shady. Lots of little streams to cross over, but only one was a challenge at all. This was the longest hike I had been on in several years, but the views at the top were worth it. " — Badgerinmaine • Aug 11, 2017
