"Drove to Flagstaff from Vegas on Friday night and started our climb around 4am. We ascended under the ski lift in the dark up to 11,500, then continued up the ridge through cold, gusty winds to the summit. We stayed long enough to take a picture, then headed down the same way to the upper ski lift. Since the resort was now open, we descended just south of the ski boundary through deep, powdery snow back to the trailhead. It was good to get this one off of my list (legally). "Can only legally be climbed in the winter when snow is covering the protected plants. Not ideal weather conditions with high winds and light snow by the end of the climb. Complete trip report: https://TheMtsAreCalling.com/agassizaz" — Christopher • Jan 9, 2020
