"As i got close to the top the grass got thicker so i bailed this time as it was a solo hike.

"Climbed Mount Triglav
So happy I got it done in under 14 hrs
I got lost twice , it was my first time there on my own and it is really steep to do and parts of it is quite dangerous
Have a plan before you do this and you will achieve then " — Tom (tjm) • Jun 12, 2025
"First hike of the day in Reed Bingham State Park, Georgia, from Red Roberts Landing. Both trails were blocked by huge blowdowns, probably from Hurricane Helene, so we drove to the main entrance to the park and found better hiking there." — davidensley • Oct 27, 2024
"Incredible backpacking loop but alas with zero peaks. Thought would try to tag a few minor summits nearby but even the smallest like Ediza Peak looked like burly scrambles with routefinding challenges. Fell in a raging creek during a thunderstorm on night one, but after that was bluebird. Epic views of Ritter and Banner were like constant siren calls for a future trip back here to climb them.
Day1: Ediza Lake
Day2: Thousand Island Lake
Day3: PCT High Trail" — scott • Aug 2, 2024
"This is firebreak it’s the 79th most prominent peak in Oregon it’s mostly a drive in OHV territory you could get a dirt bike up to the top but it’s only .2 from the car . Pretty forgettable but quite easy to combine with Roger’s for a few hours of drive up peak bagging " — joshortman • Jul 30, 2024
"Please don’t follow my descent route. This was very cliffed out. The trail to the saddle then ascend the western ridge is much better way up and back. Not worth the shortcut! Subtract 0.05 from the total miles. Started driving out of the trailhead head before I stopped recording. " — climbmtnsdmg • Jun 19, 2024
"On a wet day, we struggled to find the trail and got quite lost as we entered the tropical forest. Clouds of hungry mosquitoes finally made us give up. Conditions in the forest were very slippy and treacherous. Décision made to abort on safety issues. " — ManInMauritius • May 19, 2024
"Still recovering from our trip to Virginia, Gina and I had to take a slow walk to Nimblewill Creek to check on the lady slipper and trilliums. The trilliums are thriving and multiplying, but the lady slipper, though open, is looking pale." — davidensley • Apr 17, 2024
"Hiked Bear Creek Trail along Bear Creek to where it joins the Pinhoti Trail and continued NOrthBOund on the combined trail to Gennett Popular and back. Crossed three streams on stepping stones both ways without getting our feet wet." — davidensley • Jan 3, 2024
"Hiked from Nimblewill Gap Road to Nimblewill Creek and back to check the water level after 4.6 inches of rain over the past two days and found it significantly higher. Three photos today and one from several days ago for comparison." — davidensley • Dec 27, 2023
