“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” As presidential advisor, Mr. Bernard Baruch's comment about the president's dinner guest seating arrangements was, "I never bother about that. Those who matter don't mind, and those who mind don't matter." It's actually one of the most misrepresented quotes that has no definite origin. One of the earliest printing was in a 1938 London Engineering Journal where it is written in quotes as an anecdote implying it's already a well known oft used saying. The version used in this post is most often credited to Dr. Seuss who has no published works with that expression. What else do you want to know...?
