I grew up climbing the mountains, canyons, and rock walls of northern New Mexico. For me, climbing was not a hobby but an everyday part of life. On my daily walk into town I had the choice to either cross Los Alamos Canyon, or walk several extra miles to the famous Los Alamos bridge. Crossing the canyon to cut off the extra miles became my everyday hike. After my very close friend and roommate fell and died on a climb that we had done together a hundred times before, I took some time away from doing anything major or dangerous. My decision to move to Colorado was heavily influenced by my desire to climb some of the most inspirational and awe inspiring mountains in the entire Rocky Mountain chain. My Peakery profile only includes the climbs I have done since joining the site.
