I'm a runner, I have run 1 marathon, 8 half marathons, multiple 10ks, 5ks and several Obstacle/Mud Runs. I just started getting into trail races this year (2014). Hiking helps with training. Its a nice cross-training sport that gets me into the woods. I try to pick steep trails to train my legs for the push-off. I am hoping to do more hiking this year than last year. I figured joining Peakery will motivate me to get out there. :-)
