"A classic route, was a lot of fun routefinding in the last 600 vert from the saddle. Easy crack to climbers right of the dry waterfall crux made it an easy class 3 route. Hardest part was avoiding getting pricked by all the prickly pears and other insanely sharp desert plants. I mean, does everything really need to be this sharp?" — scott • Apr 10, 2024
"very easy summit. 300 ft vertical. Post-breakfast hike! Saw snoopy rock and aerial views of sedona from top. Right next to capital butte, making me want to do it. 2/5 Sedona 5 Peak Challenge. " — summit • Apr 8, 2024
"4.7.24~5.3 miles, 1,000’ gain in 1:15hr RT easy jog w/Jimmy. Up in :35min, “down” in :38min. Don’t compare how fast you are with a 56 yr old lady. Your ego can’t be that fragile?
Went to stash Ed some water for his workouts with doggie. " — paula.raimondi • Apr 7, 2024
"My brother and I started at Fish Creek Overlook and walked the road 2.75 miles. We then went off trail up slope and made it through a gap, into the canyon. From there we worked our way up to the west side of the peak, where there was a class2 or 3 route up. My brother built a cairn, and we spent about an hour on the summit. We were planning on going further up the ridge, but decided we weren't up for it. So we relaxed on the summit and made our way back the same way. " — ZachTeich • Apr 6, 2024
"My brothers Josh and Patrick, and I, parked at the second to last lot, and walked the road through the first canyon. We headed straight to the peak and made our way up the south side. It looks much steeper from further away. We headed left of the first pour off, then worked our way right, closer to below the east summit. We got up to the saddle just west of the east summit, then crossed the saddle and worked our way up. The toughest section was about 20 feet below the summit, and I would consider it class 3.
