"Summitted sunsethill via Chalkpond Rd. Brought the kid along for the views and bugs. This is a great trail for foraging at different times of the year would. Plenty of blueberry and raspberry bushes. There is an apple tree. It had white blossoms so I am assuming its not a crab apple. There is a tent platform half way up but it is in total disrepair. If repaired, Would be a nice place to camp if allowed. Will get a full landscape photo when I hike Sunapee next.

"Just a quick evening trip to check out this hill for its namesake: the sunset. Easy side of moderate climb from NH-103A to the summit. It was mostly woods roads the whole way until the last push to the top. It was a windy summit most of the time up there, but the sunset sure didn't disappoint." — HikeLikeMike • Aug 19, 2017
"A beautiful spring afternoon. Great views of Mt Sunapee and Lake Sunapee from the overlook. Another outing with the Wildcat Outing Club from the Lempster Community School, Lempster NH. 12 kids from K to 6th grade. Less 'complaints' every week!! " — goshen-bagger • May 11, 2017
