"After summiting nearby Mount tabor, I decided to go for two in a 7 mile 2100 foot ascent day. Climbed Style's west face from the 2600 foot(elev.) snowmobile/woods road to Griffith Lake. Steep bushwhack climbing in soft mushy snow made for a slow go. Moose scat from 3000 feet up to the summit. Nice views from east facing ledge." — jameshopson • Mar 29, 2014
"A week of hiking along the Appalachian Trail/Long Trail from Woodford Vt to Sherburne Pass.
This peak kicked my butt. This turned into a 20+ mile day - and there were just NO BREAKS on this peak. Glad to have it behind me." — markst-john • Jul 17, 2012
"Albany ADK hike led by Fred Schroeder.
Long Trail trip including climbing Styles Peak, Peru Peak, and visiting Griffith Lake.
Styles was a little steep and had decent views. Peru Peak was a little easier, but had fewer views. Griffith Lake had the best views and was a delight." — barbaratraver • Nov 5, 1996
