This hike starts at the Old Garcia Pass near the old Toll house. You start through some very beautiful Feynbos, then a gradual climb up to the kneck crossing 4 streams and up through a rainforest. The route is quite overgrown and their has been very little maintenance done on it. Before the final sumit you can continue on a longer 2 to 3 day hike. We climbed the summit and went back down. There is a cross at the top as a monument to the settlers who first climbed.
