"Went to the end of CCC road after stopping at the high point; should have hiked from there! Bushwhacked up the side of the ridge, eventually found the old disused trail, and the "summit" rock as described in http://www.catskillmountaineer.com/PM-richmond.html - And back down the way we came! I was uneasy about bushwhacking, but broke trail much of the time (while Becca navigated) and we more or less always knew where we were thanks to her app "phone" app." — mikebenjamin • Jun 12, 2022
"Did WHP with Itty Bitty so we could complete our summer round and earn our Butterfly triangle patch. Afterwards I relocated the car to a small lot on County road 32C and did a short road walk followed by a short open whack to Richmond. On my way back I popped up and over South mountain." — Nimblefoot • Aug 15, 2020
