"Took about 4 hours and 10 minutes to cover 10.2 miles. Views are stunning, saw quite a few turkey vultures circling by the pinnacle. Overall quite rocky but going counter clockwise, as other reviewers recommended, the incline was only in the beginning and quite short in length. There is a shelter with a compostable toilet near the beginning of the trail. Follow white trailblazes for the loop, trail and shelter indicated by a blue arrow and signpost about 1-2 miles in. Parking lot is quite large but I imagine it will fill quickly on weekend mornings. I was there with my 11 years old kid and wife it was unfortunately, foggy and cloudy conditions, but it was still a beautiful view." — Bhagyesh-Chokhawala • Apr 23, 2023
"My dad and I set out on the AT to hike to Pulpit Rock. We met a few hikers and their dogs on the way up. Nothing too difficult, just be sure to bring water and a nice pair of boots, they help us out on the way back down." — Charles-Cole1 • Feb 19, 2017
"Beautiful day for a hike with my roommate. So proud of us for committing to this day hike even after realizing it was an hour and a half drive. Ran into another astronomer and got a view of the sun and Venus; just like last year. " — AngieBaby • Jun 15, 2014
"Finally did a hike without my MooseHiker. We got a little off track at first, but we found our way eventually. Found some astronomers at the top peeking through their telescopes at the sun and Venus. " — AngieBaby • Sep 7, 2013
