"This peak is a beast . With all the action jumbo seems to get, it is mystifying that there was only one short description at all about this peak. Starts out like jumbo, then once the boulders are reached some thoughtful route finding is required to first even identify what the high point is , then to actually get to the base of the summit block. Luckily I had some service near the top and was able to pull up Sean c trip report and see he did a big leap to get to the final slab that led to the first of the two summits . This helped get me to where I needed to be. This is also where my problems started . The two summits are about equal in height, but are separated by about a 20 foot notch. I have pictured where you would need to jump to, which Is about a 55 degree slab 8-10 ft below you and 10-12 ft out. The x area is overhanging and featureless. Getting back, you would get down to the notch and then climb back up some flakes that Sean c said he did not feel comfortable trusting his weight on, I did not see myself as there is no point in downclimbing that since the featureless overhanging face is insurmountable. This is all quite committing, and not something I wanted to do solo with..." — joshortman • Feb 8, 2023
"Went For this Peak without any beta. Difficulties begin near the summit boulders. Creative route finding is needed to identify the true high point. Lots of friction slabs took me to a big air jump. I thought I reached the top, but a summit challenger just a few feet away from me appeared slightly higher. Another large jump for me got me to the base of the true summit block, but coming back was more difficult, requiring a yds 5.2 climb back to the lower summit. Very challenging Peak!
