Overnight trip to summit Mt Wash...Headed up Tuckerman Ravine Trail at 8am...weather started off great but the clouds and wind rolled in and made for a TOUGH trip to the summit...We got lucky and cleared for a decent view before heading back down via Lions Head Trail....We camped out at the Hermit Lake shelters and hiked home the remaining 2 miles Sunday...Awesome trip with Maggie and Kate Jersey!!!! My ass climbed Mount Washington!

Spur of the moment decision to hike a summit while on our Adack Vacation. This hike said difficult and we knew it would take most of the day so we went for it...the last mile was torture as it was a complete incline before the summit. The view was worth all the effort, and I even had the energy to climb most of the way up the tower...it was windy and the tower has seen better days so I decided against heading to the top! We got back just before dark so our timing was perfect. Great hike during a great vacation away from it all!
