Russian group from National University of Science and Technology “MISIS”, led by famous Russian alpinist Andrey Mariev, made the summit during acclimatization before the MontBlanc.
That was the first successful ascent after few days of bad weather in Chamonix. We went thru virgin snow sometimes deeper than 50cm. We were the only group who made the summit near Chamonix that day.

Gokyo Ri was main point of our Everest region trekking. It provides a fabulous view on mt. Everest. Besides "the Top of the World", from Gokyo Ri it is possible to see four over 8,000 metre peaks - Lhotse, Makalu, Kangchenjunga, and Cho Oyu.
