Park at the paved pullout on the right and follow the creek (there is an old trail that you'll find if you stay on the east side of the creek). At what looks like a small campsite turn up the gully towards the summit, aiming for its south side. The X-country is very easy up until the summit block. There is a nice class 3 route to the summit on the south side of the pile, but if you circle around the east side of the rocks to the north side, there is a good easy route. since its only open one day a year it turns into half dome from hell kind of hike.
