Thanks pmeelc for what you are doing, but it is inaccurate. I went back and studied my GPS camp bearings. I would NEVER allow myself to be close enough for the campfire ashes to flow into the lake! I am an old eagle scout and an excellent steward of the land. Even though maybe it does not look like it from the picture, I am 268 feet NE from closest point of Horseshoe lake and the ashes flow downhill to the NE and not into the lake. The same is with Hidden Lake. I am 424 feet SE from the lake and the ashes flow the opposite direction downhill to the SE. I leave my areas so no one knows I have been there . Thanks for your concern!
Thank you for your comment. Even though it does not appear from the picture the fire and camping area were outside of the designated lake danger range. The campfires did not drain into the lake. I am an Eagle Scout and from my youth you can not tell I have been into an area.
