"Was going to do Angel's Landing, but seeing the number of people on the shuttle bus, I changed my plans. Glad I did. A lot fewer people on the trail. Lots of switchbacks and a large percentage of the trail was paved. Incredible views from the summit overlooking Zion. " — newenglandwarrior • Jun 14, 2017
"Beautiful sunny day with a wonderfully grueling ascent! Man those switchbacks up to Observation Point are no joke. However, the view from the top was totally worth the tough work in the baking sun." — HikeLikeMike • May 31, 2017
"Went with Las Vegas Mountaineers Club for our annual group camp outing in Snow Canyon. This was a dayhike planned by Eric, since he hadn't been up to Observation Point before. I took off ahead of the group to hike to Blew By Peak and Observation Benchmark before meeting the group at Observation Point. Beautiful day!" — Kevin • Oct 16, 2016
"Not sure this qualifies as a 'peak' exactly, but I hiked it and its an amazingly epic and fantastic half-day hike. Climbs 2,148 feet in 4 miles and its steep in places, but the trail is pretty well maintained. The walk thru Echo Canyon was probably the highlight, aside from getting to Observation Point and taking in the amazing views. Less crowds on this one then Angel's Landing, and better scenery IMO.. "During a canyoneering trip to the area, I decided to take a day off of "decending" and "ascend" for a change! Long trail but absolutely beautiful. The trail takes you right next to and above the Middle Echo slot canyon. Taking a detour into Hidden Canyon is also worth it" — lawrencebaker • Sep 18, 2015
"Out with a friend trying to get as many hikes in for the weekend as we can. We cheated on this one a bit by taking the East Canyon Rim trail for the Pondarosa Resort. This route is actually quite nice with some wonderful views. A nice spot to watch the sunset." — CacheMACS • Nov 7, 2014
