"To keep away from the crowds this weekend, Molly and I hiked the Percys today. Not the greatest weather for it. Heavy cloud cover. We did South Percy first, then hiked North Percy. Lots of blueberries out today. " — newenglandwarrior • Aug 9, 2020
"Nice cooler temperature morning to start the hike. The trail head takes a while to get to after leaving route 3 in Groveton. The hike itself is short but steep - lots of slabs to ascend and i would avoid this on any wet day" — hiking4000 • Jun 16, 2020
"Started our hike at Christine Lake. Trail was hard to find for first half mile headed down the Old Summer club trail/road. Finally found first Cohos trail sign and all was better rest of the hike. Awesome views from both peaks and North peak was fun ledge scrambled to summit. Once back down to trail junction took Percy loop trail out to second car!" — blackwolf_03278 • Jul 14, 2019
"Great hike, the heat and humidity really kicked my butt. Would like to do it again as a fall hike. Once I got to the peak big black clouds rolled in I retreated to tree line until they passed then returned to enjoy the peak. " — mary.wright.35977 • Aug 10, 2017
"A warm day in the 80s, so lots of sweat up Percy Loop. There is no question about views from this summit. Wide open 360 deg. Its a 1/4 mi up the ledges from treeline to summit." — Alohabuffy • Aug 2, 2017
"North Percy was a beautiful mountain with a fantastic trail in the Cohoos Trail System. This is really a fantastic forest and there are so few people enjoying them that you get the woods to yourself. The northern part for this patch had me travel to remote sections of the state that I fell in love with...more trees than I had ever seen and such beautiful untouched land. "Hiked with my parents and sisters, and my Dad's three cousins. We picked enough blueberries to bake two pies (which we ate during a rousing evening of cards) and were written up in Lancaster newspaper because of it. I'll have to dig through some family journals to find the date." — gooner • Jul 17, 1998
