"Enjoyed the hike to the top of this peak, which offers fantastic views of Santa Barbara, other sights along East Camino Cielo and even Channel Islands. It was very hot and dry, even at sunset, so bring plenty of water! " — jameslkennedy • Jul 11, 2012
"6.8 miles RT, 1939 ft elevation. Well-maintained trails but confusing without a map or directions due to crisscrossing of different trails and fire road. First half is oak woodland, and 2nd half manzanita chaparral. The southern part of the trail in chaparral has lots of boulders and apple-sized rocks. It is very easy to roll your ankle. Trail to summit is from the north side of the peak." — srphilip • Dec 2, 2011
