"A great day for a hike. With four inches of fresh heavy wet snow on the trail and the branches above heavy with snow, three friends and no dogs made their way to the pinnacle. Leaving from the beach parking lot we took the trail to the pinnacle. After summiting the short trail we decided to explore some of the many trails in the Lake George Regional Park. These trails look a bit different covered in snow and can be a bit hard to find when your the first to break trail. Fortunately I've spent a lot of time on these trails both on horseback and hiking. I led our tiny band of friends to "Big Rock" on the southern edge of the park and then to the boat landing. We then followed the road back to our car. Today was the first day of ice fishing on the lake for the season. There were many trucks parked all along the road. Total distance 3 miles. https://www.relive.cc/view/u3309113086" — bwright • Jan 1, 2019
"Great night for a hike. Me, my two girls, my girl's boy and my other girl's girl, my dog, a dog for each of the girls and a spare dog, because what's one more dog, oh yea and a stuffed dog named Brownie. The trail was dry and the bugs were hungry. Happy Trails" — bwright • Jul 29, 2016

"A great day for a hike, but beware of the angry man with the yellow lab with the 50 foot lead. He claims his dog is not friendly. The dog seemed fine the man not so much. If the dog isn't friendly I think I know who he learned that behavior from. Other than that a great day Happy trails" — bwright • Apr 22, 2016

"Great day for a hike. Spring has sprung. today we were 3 for 3. Thee dogs and three peeps. Speaking of peeps the peepers are out, the ice is out, and other hikers are out. We met another hiker with two dogs where the Pinnacle Trail meets the snowmobile trail. Very friendly dogs, a big Newfy and and old Golden. We didn't bring home any ticks today but they are out. "Great day/night for a hike. Three good friends and three Doodle dogs went out for a moonlight hike, the moon was full but the sky was full of clouds, so no moonlight tonight. Still it was nice to get out and do a hike in the dark on purpose. P. S. the park closes at sundown but we had permission to hike in the dark from the park ranger. Happy Trails." — bwright • Feb 21, 2016
