"After hiking the Monadnock 5 Peak Challenge I still had some gas left in the tank, so I headed over for a quick out-and-back to Gap Mountain. Rounded out the day nicely, and Gap Mountain Summit provides a great view of Monadnock." — wacbravo • Jan 26, 2019
"May day hike with friends. North side accent to north peak and on to middle peak. Sneaky, unmarked trail from middle peak leads down grassy ledges to some fine views of the south peak and below into "the gap". Once in the gap there is a trail leading to the gaps boulder field and loops back to the top of the middle peak with some ledge hugging required." — mikezilla • May 1, 2015
"A nice, quick journey from Royce trail to M&M trail via the north side. From the Middle summit we found the small connector to the "Gap" area which leads to the South peak, climbing around the boulder field and finding new high-up locations to meditate." — mikezilla • Oct 30, 2012
"Here again with Voodoo, keeping the #s up. It's always a nice hike but I must admit after 12 summits in the last 10 months, I find it hard to get too excited about this small peak. But I still love it." — VonSelmer • Mar 11, 2012
"a rainy morning on a dog friendly hike - again Gap Mountain becomes the start of something. Last time it began my hiking addiction & this time it begins my goal of averaging one peak per day for the next year." — VonSelmer • Oct 14, 2011
"Started in main parking area then connecting to the M&M trail and heading to South Gap first, with the official "gap" area proving to be very interesting. Then it was on to Middle Summit and close-by North Summit and back to car all within two hours total. South Gap has no trail markers but it's a pretty obvious footpath." — mikezilla • Oct 9, 2011
