"As far as I can determine, English Hill is the 5th highest named highpoint in Indiana. At the time I made this report, this website ranked English Hill as the 13th highest with an elevation of only 997 feet, which is incorrect. Its elevation is actually over 1040 feet. It is located in a crop field, so your visit should not be during the growing season. My son, Marshall, and I parked our car along the road north of the highpoint and only had to hike about .2 mile to the summit. Since this spot is in an open field, you have a unobstructed view in all directions, but the relief of the surrounding land is not great enough to have an outstanding vista." — Stewy • Nov 9, 2014
"This is a short jog through a farmer's field, no fence or posted signs. We did not seek or ask permission since it was a quick grab, but from the summit you are in view from the house and road." — marshallstewart • Nov 9, 2014
