I approached from the Urad mine, coming up the road with the gate. I missed my turn and proceeded up the valley in the wrong direction. I attempted to climb my way up to the ridge, but the scree was too loose and I was forced to backtrack to the bridge where I missed my turn. Back at the bridge by the cabin, I followed the creek up for a ways and then gained the ridge on the north side and made my way to the summit. From Engelmann I went south to Robeson and Bard Peak before returning the way I came. Highlights included a small herd of big horn sheep and a snake on the summit of Bard.
