"Despite a long sandy grind before the Rucu Pichincha summit block, we enjoyed some easy scrambling on the ascent. Things went so well, we decided to add a few more to our day. A steep descent brought us to a well defined trail leading to Ladrillos. After that, we reconnected with the main traverse trail and went up Padre Encantado. This was our first full day in Ecuador, and an excellent introduction to the terrain and elevation. " — ivo • Oct 1, 2023

"We got to our AirBnB at 3pm and decided to stretch our legs after a day and a half of travelling through airports. From the historical area, El Panecillo is about 2km and 210m with 894 stairs. The summit provides great 360 degree views of Quito." — ivo • Sep 30, 2023
"Started climb from parking lot at 11pm on Monday. Clear day . Crossed a exposed ridge and the wind was very cold. Heavy snow made last push to summit difficult. Amazing views of almost all of the ecuador big 10 peaks. I’d say the most spectacular summit I’ve ever done." — ryancoburn • Nov 16, 2021
