Started at Saguaro Ranch park and walked up a street for about 100 yards to the trailhead, on the left. The trail meandered through a wash that ran between some houses before it started switchbacking up the hill. The trail was in pretty good shape and well marked. About half way up, I reached the beginning of the loop portion of the trail. Taking a right takes you straight up the steep part of the hill to the summit with a lot of tight switchbacks and large steps. Taking a left takes you to the summit but not as steep. I took the right path. Got to the top just after the sun went down and the moon was rising over Pyramid peak. Nice short hike.
