"Dogs and I did the Suicide Bluffs to Dog Mountain. We started up early in the morning and we had the trail to ourselves all the way to the Bluffs to Dog Mtn. I t is a nice short hike of 5-6 km. "Took Palm and Chola on an early morning hike up De Pencier Bluff. We took the Mystery Lake trail to the bluff trail. We were on the summit at about 0900. The views were spectacular. "First hike in winter with spikes/snowshoes. Uneventful up to Dog Mountain. Micro spikes only. Tried to go to Suicide Bluffs and had to put snowshoes on. Track was hard to find but managed to stay on it. At the base of Suicide Bluffs, I realized it was harder than expected and wasn't prepare enough. Turned back." — WaffleEaterSkier • Mar 12, 2021
