Climb the classic peaks of Rio! Includes the many classic peaks lying in Rio de Janeiro with trails or established routes to the top. Includes the Circuito dos Picos in Rio's Tijuca National Park, a 19 km trail that summits the 10 main peaks of the park. All are hikes except Pão de Açúcar which on its easiest route has a 20m vertical rock section; climbing gear/guide recommended.

"Brazil. Walked up a rough neighbourhood, Cristo Rey was perfectly visible. Took a too expensive small bus. Bought tickets and went up in a different small bus. Clouds rolled in, visibility zero haha. Damned. Waited more than an hour and went back down. Still had views of Rio de Janeiro and Pãu de Açucar from a Mirador on the way down.
