As this was our first summit we treated it as a learning experience, we will be better prepared next time.
We set off from Base Camp at 11:30am and and arrived at The Botley Hill Farmhouse Pub near The Ridge at 12:45pm.
We took this opportunity to refuel before making our way to the base of the hill.
we started our climb at about 13:15, and after a steady walk Debbie (wife), Holly (daughter), Ruby (dog) and Myself reached the summit of Botley Hill.
At the top we were greeted by some very nice views and about a dozen surprised sheep.
After that we said Ta Ta to the Sheep and made our way back to base camp.
