"Windy day, saw no other people. We did spy a coyote. Saw rock with arrow carved in it. Not able to see view anymore. This is our second time up, first time was almost 20 years ago." — beabryon • May 15, 2016
"This hill is located in the "Indian Arrowhead preservation forest" off rt12. The summit has a wonderful rock carving of an bow and arrow, carved by william Mason(1832-1912) he was described as strange and roamed the hillsides with his chisel. Other similar carvings can be found on hills around the area. Most point in the direction of Mount Monadnock. This is a quick and fun hike with evidence of early settlements. The first settlement of Surry, NH. I added this hill as "Arrow Hill" because thats what the original town ledger calls it dating back to the 1760's." — mikezilla • Jun 1, 2012
